Magazine newstand

As a part of the research task, in class, as preparation for our own music magazines, we were instructed to find newsstands which had music magazines. I had to go out and find a newsagent which sold Magazines.

As a result, I was instructed to visually analyse the distribution of magazines and how they are presented to the public. The newsagent that I chose offered a wide variety of magazines which was useful for me as this way I was able to see how so many magazines were displayed and presented to the target market. The magazines which are more popular are placed at the front whereas rest of the magazines are placed on the back of the shelves. The purpose to placing children's magazine at their eye level, attracts them, and they are lead to buy the magazines. Furthermore, the bold writing on the title is there to get the audience to know what they are reading.

The magazine's is from WH Smith, where these collections look nicely organised. These magazines gave me an idea on how I had to create my own magazine cover to prepare, and how magazines are distributed.
