The college magazine is a significant element in this assignment as this type of experience and effort would help me contrive my music magazine by using manipulative software’s such as Indesign and Photoshop. The college magazine was a very challenging task as I firmly believe that the software which I used to create my product was extremely complex as it consisted of many different components which I was not familiar with, however on the other hand some tools had come very handy such as the magic wand this selects pixels based on tone and color and air brush tool, this tool controlled my painting technique skills. Tools like these had allowed me to edit my text and images in order to create an ideal college magazine; this type of magazine would be promoted to teenagers. Additionally it is vital to use many effects as possible in my magazine in order to make my college magazine appealing and engaging at the same time.
The college magazine was well structured and organized as I believe the photography that I took was very much appropriate to this particular task. I took a picture of a typical college student wearing an id card around his neck; the photograph which I took was a medium long shot, this shot was very important in this particular task as I wanted the student's body to be seen as the essential element in the magazine, to make it seem more appealing. I'am very pleased with the photography skills because, the use of the picture, shows to be really appealing and eye-catching which will engage to the audience attention to which I agree with. On the other hand, other students who commented on my magazine article had said that "what could be improved if you used less of the tagline and had cut out the image of the student to make it look more professional". This is a comment from one of the students in my media class, in which I would agree with to improve my work. The background of the magazine is seemingly realistic, as it has the background of the college hallway and have a masthead for my college magazine. The overall conclusion to my magazine was a big success. This is because of a lot of positive comments, leaving me very intrigued with my college magazine. Also one comment I'm happy with is that "the choice of colours relate to the theme of the magazine". which suggests the person was happy with me relating to the magazine. However, the is still some time for improvements.
My context magazine is what I' am also pleased with, although I do think that there is more that needs to be edited. A positive comment on my context page is that one of the students find the context page "amazing and very appealing" and that she finds the page colour "the font of the colour page very colourful", to which I'am impressed with the photography skill, and I like the fact that it has a typical college student; however, I do agree with the student that the context page should a lot more professional. For instance, the context page does not look organised and the columns need to look more professional. From another student I should have presented the Facebook and Twitter better, and that the text should have been a different colour because it was "hard to read". Despite a few pros and cons in my context page, I overall am a little pleased with my page.
Furthermore, what needs to be also improved in my magazine is that I could make my text not overlap, but mainly my organisation skills. These comments will ultimately help me be aware of what I must do to prevent the minor mistakes on the college magazine.

Your contents page can be related to college students because of your image; the text is good however the text should have been a different colour or font because it's hard to read. the Facebook and Twitter images could have been presented better.
From the comments i have received, I would need to consider:
1) To organize the cover lines and lining them up on the side and not to overlap the text.
2) Use less of the tagline.
3) Place my text in more appropriate places.
